Ocean Pride Seafood

I had the two crab cake entree. Crab cakes were too salty with not enough flavor. Fries were passeable but also too salty. Side salad was good. I requested cream of crab soup but the waitress forgot it. I have been here before and the food was much better. I won't come back.

While the food may be okay, the atmosphere leaves much to be desired. Ocean Pride has been around forever, and basically never has changed. We hadn't gone for years, decided to try it a week ago, and it was okay. Service was a bit slow, but the food wasn't bad. We decided to give it another try today and were definitely disappointed. We pulled in to the parking lot and were greeted with a huge overflowing dumpster of trash that was in the corner of the parking lot. (See photo). We went inside and were told that they weren't seating walk-ins (it was lunch on Father's day). Now the restaurant was practically empty. They told us we could sit in the bar (noisy) and we just decided to cut our losses and go elsewhere. Honestly, this is a drab restaurant that has not had any attention given to it over the years. Not a good dining experience.

Slow but delicious. Worth the wait.
